This project maps the spread of explosive remnants of war (ERW) across Kosovo using basic GIS techniques like buffering and overlay. By identifying where landmines and cluster bombs are located, and comparing those areas with district boundaries, it shows which parts of the country are most at risk. Districts are ranked by how much contamination they have, helping prioritize where cleanup should start. The project is especially useful in places where field access is limited. It offers a straightforward, open-source workflow for understanding war-related hazards with clear, visual results.
